With more than 30 million copies sold, Pink Floyd’s The Wall is one of the best-selling albums of all time and certainly one of the best concept albums.
The songs resonated with fans, despite a lackluster reception by critics, and some of them, like “Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2),” have endured as radio favorites for more than four decades.
Pink Droyd have built a reputation as one of the most authentic Pink Floyd tribute bands in existence and will visit Sweetwater Performance Pavilion on Friday, Sept. 23 to perform The Wall in its entirety. The night will open with Kid Gloves, a Rush tribute band.
Combine the more than 80 minutes of intricate and often challenging music with Pink Droyd’s visually stunning lasers and video, and you get a night full of music that honors one of the truly great bands in rock history.
