Judy Woodruff, former anchor of PBS’ nightly NewsHour, will be the first speaker in PFW Omnibus Lecture Series at Auer Performance Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 14. The event will help celebrate PBS Fort Wayne’s 45th anniversary in 2020, a celebration that was postponed until now due to the pandemic.

In addition to her work at PBS, Woodruff spent five decades reporting for NBC and CNN and has anchored numerous programs including the documentary series Frontline with Judy Woodruff.

Beyond her accomplishments in journalism, Woodruff is the founding co-chair of the International Women’s Media Foundation and serves on the boards of the Freedom Forum, The Duke Endowment, the Carnegie Corporation of New York, Public Radio International, and the National Association to End Homelessness.

Tickets for “An Evening with Judy Woodruff” are free ad available on a first-come, first-served basis, but should be reserved in advance.
