Country rock legends Nitty Gritty Dirt Band will stop by Honeywell Center in Wabash on Wednesday, June 28, for an evening of non-stop hits.
The band’s biggest song, the still-popular cover of Jerry Jeff Walker’s “Mr. Bojangles,” charted at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1968. A number of other hits, including “Buy for Me the Rain,” “Fishin’ in the Dark,” “I Saw the Light,” and “Will the Circle Be Unbroken,” also made an impact on radio.
Jeff Hanna and Jimmie Fadden remain from the original lineup, keeping an authenticity to the music that so many fans have known and loved for decades.
