Multitalented Chicago native Michael Ian Black will appear at Summit City Comedy Club for a special performance on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 4 p.m. 

Best known for his stint on the television series Ed, Black began his career with the sketch comedy troupe The State and continued it by starring in the movie Wet Hot American Summer and the Comedy Central series Another Period. Black is also a podcaster and has written several books for children and adults. 

He regularly tours the country as a stand-up comedian where he has entertained audiences throughout his career and released two stand-up albums, I Am a Wonderful Man and Very Famous.
