Hyde Brothers Booksellers’ monthly Last Thursday literary series will at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31. 

Stop by the local bookstore at 1428 N. Wells St. to meet and listen to local authors read from their original works. 

This month’s event features poet and educator Brendan Allen, author of The Corridors, along with writer and musician Gabi Lorino, and historical theologist Gino Marchetti II. 

Each installment lasts 15-20 minutes, with a brief intermission between each reader. 

The event is free, open to the public and offers a unique opportunity to celebrate and discover some of Fort Wayne’s local literary talent.
