Fort Wayne Ballet’s annual presentation of The Nutcracker goes a step further when the nationally recognized dance company launches its second annual Kris Kringle Village as part of the festivities.
The village takes its cue from traditional German Christmas markets that fill the holidays with food, entertainment, seasonal ornaments, gifts, and fare.
Occurring on the downtown Arts Campus, the village is open 5-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 and 9; noon-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 and 10; and noon-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4 and 10
Each day will feature different entertainment, with ARTament on Dec. 2 from 6-8 p.m., Santa on Dec. 3 and 10 from 1-3 p.m., the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir on Dec. 3 at 5 p.m., Pyroscope Light Dancing on Dec. 9 at 7 p.m., Canterbury Middle School Choir on Dec. 10 at 2 p.m., and Monique Dance on Dec. 11 at 1 p.m.
Travlen’ Tom’s Coffee Truck and Licensed Bar Services will be on hand each day, with Street Chef Food joining Dec. 2-3, Bravas on Dec. 4 and 9, and King Arthur’s Trolley serving up food on Dec. 10.
Vendors at the event include Young’s Greenhouse, Little Bird & Co., Stuck on Decor, R. Brothers Apothecary, Freeze Dried Candles, Soul Sisters Apparel, Josh’s Jungle, and Sally Makes Scents.
