Help the Fort Wayne Komets get ready for their 73rd season on the ice with their first preseason games on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 11-12. 

The action will be plentiful as the Komets take on the Iowa Heartlanders at Memorial Coliseum in what are hoped to be a preview of a championship season. 

Fan-favorites Jack Dugan and Anthony Petruzzelli return to the Komets this year to be joined by the notable additions of 2023-24 ECHL All-Star forward and Fort Wayne native Alex Aleardi, ECHL All-Star defenseman Kyle Mayhew, and the Kalamazoo Wings’ all-time leading scorer Justin Taylor. 

The Komets open their regular season against the Heartlanders in Coralville, Iowa, on Oct. 18 and 19, before their regular season home opener on Friday, Oct. 25, against the Cincinnati Cyclones.
