Avoid the hustle and bustle of Black Friday shopping or simply shake off the craziness of the crowds at Headwaters Ice Rink on Black Friday, Nov. 24. 

The rink will be open extended hours, noon-9 p.m. offering a chance for recreation, group activities, and family fun. 

More than 30,000 skaters enjoyed the rink last year, and even more are expected to take part in several special events this year including “Skate It Off,” a Taylor Swift-themed night on Jan. 12, “Frosty Flow” yoga on Jan. 31, and “Dancing Through the Decades,” featuring music from the 1960s through the 1990s, on Feb. 1.

The rink will remain open through Feb. 25.
