Headwaters Ice Skating Rink, located in downtown Fort Wayne, will open for the 2022-23 season at noon on Saturday, Nov. 19.

Crews are working overtime to get the rink ready for the 20th season of skating at Headwaters Park. With the challenge of warm weather mostly behind us, they are confident this year will be even more successful than last year when more than 30,000 skaters hit the ice, skating for fun and fitness. 

The rink is open seven days a week through Feb. 26, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but hours are subject to weather-related issues. 

Special “Kids Skate Free” days, for kids 13 and under, take place on Nov. 29, Dec. 13, Jan. 3, Jan. 17, Jan. 31, and Feb. 14.
