The fourth annual Harvester Homecoming takes place at the former International Harvester/Navistar site on Meyer Road in Fort Wayne on Aug. 5-6.
Once a main employer in the Summit City, International Harvester still holds a special place in the hearts of many residents. Not only is Harvester Homecoming a reunion of former employees, but it is open and free to the public.
Tour the former engineering center with former employees as guides, and take a bus tour of the former Truck Works campus.
The All I-H Show, featuring vehicles that were built there, offers opportunities to meet the men and women who built the trucks and you’ll have the opportunity to find out how they did it.
All donations benefit the Harvester Museum project, designed to help maintain the history of the factory as well as the city.
