The classic musical Godspell will be presented Jan. 9-11 and Jan. 16-18 by Fire & Light Academy at Parkview Physicians Group ArtsLab on Main Street in Fort Wayne. 

The show features eight non-Biblical characters who sing and act out the parables that are primarily based on the Gospel of Matthew. 

Using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques, and hefty doses of comic timing interspersed with music mostly set to lyrics from traditional hymns. The story eventually dissolves into the scene of the Last Supper and the Crucifixion where Jesus’ messages of kindness, tolerance, and love come vibrantly to life.
