The next installment of the George R. Mather Lecture Series will feature Nancy Carlson Dodd presenting Picturesque Lindenwood Cemetery.
Gather at The History Center in downtown Fort Wayne at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5, to learn about the long and storied history of this cemetery and share in the beauty it has to offer.
Included on the National Register of Historic Places, Lindenwood Cemetery was established in 1859 and offers a glimpse at the origins of our community. Among its 74,000 graves, visitors can find many names they should recognize including Fort Wayne pioneers Samuel Hanna, George Ewing, and Paul Frank Baer.
