Celebrate freedom during the extended Fourth of July holiday weekend at Garrett Heritage Days, July 3-4.
The 5:30 p.m. downtown parade highlights Monday’s events that also include a beer tent and entertainment provided by Hubie Ashcraft.
Tuesday kicks off with a pancake breakfast, a Cruise-In and a 5K/2-mile walk. Also on tap are a BBQ cook-off, beard contest, talent show, vendor fair, baking contest, pony rides, and a basketball shootout.
Also on Tuesday, a Chalk Walk sponsored by Garrett Museum of Art will take place, and the Miss Garrett Jr./Jr. Teen/Teen Pageant, and the Miss and Master Railroader winners will be crowned.
Crossfire provides the music for the night, and the grand finale fireworks are set for 10 p.m.
