Another season of fun on the ice in downtown Fort Wayne comes to an end on Sunday, Feb. 26, as the Headwaters Park Ice Skating Rink closes for the season, making way for the plethora of summer festivals that will inhabit the pavilion.
More than 20,000 skaters have enjoyed the rink this year, making it another successful year for the facility that opened two decades ago. In fact, just under a half-million people have taken to the ice since its inception, making memories of a lifetime.
So, bundle up, strap on those skates, and take one last chance to enjoy the rink, one of Fort Wayne’s best opportunities for exercise and fun for the whole family.
Hours of operation are 3-8 p.m. Thursday, noon-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon-8 p.m. on Sunday.
