One of Fort Wayne’s favorite holiday traditions, The History Center’s annual Festival of Gingerbread, is preparing to celebrate its 38th year. 

From Nov. 24-Dec. 17, take the opportunity to step into the Shields Room and be amazed by the vast variety of styles, sizes, shapes, and themes of the more than one hundred edible creations on display. 

Competitive categories for the show range from preschool to adults and professionals, and the theme of each creation ranges from the traditional houses to replicas of existing structures to unique art.  

Prizes are awarded to winners in each category, and all entries are eligible for the Historical Theme Competition award if they represent a historical building, place, thing, or event.
