The 38th FAME Festival takes place Saturday-Sunday, March 15-16, at Grand Wayne Convention Center.

Student piano, vocal dance, and drama performances will be at the center of the festival. There will also be student art displays and workshops featuring guest musicians, dancers, and visual artists.

The theme of this year’s festival will be Tides and Tales, highlighting the Caribbean countries of Cuba, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico.

Admission is $7 for adults and free for those 18 and under. Participation in most of the activities is free.

FAME, the Foundation for Art and Music in Education, aims to foster and perpetuate creativity through multicultural arts education.
