Earth Day will be celebrated around the world Saturday, April 22, demonstrating support for environmental protection.
Fort Wayne will keep the celebration going the following day from 1-5 p.m. at Eagle Marsh, which will close Engle Road.
Little River Wetlands Project’s Earth Day Fort Wayne will provide a chance for further education and celebration of our planet by hosting conservation partners from businesses, educational institutions, vendors, government agencies, and local conservation organizations.
Along with food trucks and music from K105 FM, there will be education stations with hands-on activities for all ages, a wildlife temporary tattoo station, a native plant giveaway, and the Soarin’ Hawk Raptor Rehabilitation Center.
