Duke Tumatoe is no stranger to Fort Wayne, having played here many times over the years in front of hundreds of loyal fans.

A regular performer on The Bob & Tom Show, the self-taught guitarist who learned to play by watching Chicago’s blues legends, Tumatoe combines funny stories with world-class blues musicianship to create a unique experience for the listener.

A former member of REO Speedwagon, when that band was more influenced by the music of Otis Redding than The Rolling Stones, Tumatoe has released 15 albums and opened for the likes of Muddy Waters, George Thorogood, and John Fogerty, while headlining a hundred or so shows a year for decades.

Ask anyone who has seen him, a night with Duke Tumatoe is always a memorable one. A chance to make some of those memories comes when he stops by the Baker Street Centre on Saturday, April 5.
