A downtown Fort Wayne staple, Club Soda, 235 E. Superior St., is celebrating their 25th Anniversary with three special nights of music featuring performers who have graced the venue’s stage over the years.

The festivities begin from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, May 16, with the Michael Patterson Blues Trio channeling the electric blues of EJ Philips, a renowned New Orleans guitarist who has played the Club Soda stage many times.

The music moves to an outdoor tent on Barr Street for Friday night’s performance by The West Central Quartet with special guests Jamie Wise on vocals, Al Parr on trumpet, and Ed Renz on saxophone.

Things really heat up on Saturday with three acts in the tent, beginning with the Alicia Pyle Duo from 2-5 p.m., followed by Todd Harrold Band from 5:30-8 p.m., and Sweetwater All-Stars closing out the celebration from 8:30-11:30 p.m.

In addition the music, you will want to enjoy specially crafted drinks and unique food offerings made exclusively for this occasion. — Chris Hupe
