Inaugural event from YMCA Child Care Services Branch is banking on your love of chili to raise money for the organization that provides before- and after-school care and summer camp opportunities for low-income families.

Beginning at 6 p.m. at Camp Red Cedar, more than a dozen chili tasting stations from Fort Wayne fire stations will provide samples, as will Skyline Chili of Fort Wayne and The Sassy Vegan. Votes will be tallied for the top firehouse chili.

Along with the chili, your $25 ticket will give you access to desserts from several local bakeries, including Nothing Bundt Cakes and Bragg A Lot Sweets and Drink. Two Bandits Brewing out of Hicksville and Ambrosia Orchard will also be bringing drinks for purchase.

There will also be a silent auction and live music from JacksonVibe.
