Former Great White singer Jack Russell passed away in August, leaving a void in the rock world once occupied by one of the great voices of the genre.
To keep his legend alive and celebrate more than four decades of his music, former Grim Reaper guitarist and current Sweetwater legend Nick Bowcott is hosting A Celebration of Life for Jack Russell at Piere’s on Saturday. Feb. 15.
Former Ted Nugent singer Derek St. Holmes will headline the night that also features his friends Rick Monroe and The Hitmen, with the JC Lee Band opening the evening.
This event coincides with a similar event held in California and is aimed at Russell’s Midwest and East Coast fans who were not able to make it to the West Coast.
A portion of the night’s proceeds will go to the research of Lewy body dementia and multiple system atrophy, which is what took Russell’s life.
