For 63 seasons, Bob Chase called the play-by-play action for the Fort Wayne Komets on radio and/or television, bringing the games to an endearing audience. 

Chase died in 2016 at the age of 90, but the team continues to honor his unmatched passion for the hockey club by hosting the annual Bob Chase Memorial Thanksgiving Game on Nov. 23 at Memorial Coliseum. 

Now in its sixth year, the game will be fast and furious on the ice while the crowd will contribute their energy to the game from the stands, no doubt supercharged with turkey, stuffing, and pie.

The hometown Komets take on the Iowa Heartlanders in what is sure to be a hard-fought battle between these two evenly matched ECHL teams.
