Longtime News-Sentinel journalist Blake Sebring will appear at This & That, 3209 N. Anthony Blvd., from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Feb. 4, to sign copies of his newest book, Eyes Toward Heaven. 

A native of Fort Wayne, Sebring started writing for The News-Sentinel at 15 and covered the Fort Wayne Komets’ beat for 28 seasons, covering more than 1,500 games.

His new book takes readers through an amazing true story about perseverance and faith as a woman overcomes several life obstacles, learning to totally rely on Christ in the process. 

An incredible story that is hard to believe will be verified by the woman herself, Tonia, who is scheduled to be on hand during the event.
