Recovery Café Fort Wayne offers support to people who may find themselves in a variety of circumstances.
Among those the social service helps are those new to recovery, moving through a difficult transition, returning to recovery, experiencing mental health challenges, trauma, homelessness, and even those now wanting to give back in service to others.
To help fund these services, the organization will present their second annual Barbecue and Blues Fundraiser on Thursday, Sept. 28, from 6-9 p.m. at The Events at the Summit, 1025 W. Rudisill Blvd.
On hand that night will be Fort Wayne blues favorites The G-Money Band. There will also be art, food and drink, individual testimonies, and prizes.
Tickets are $30 via Eventbrite ahead of time and $40 at the door.
