Auburn’s First Friday for October will be their Pumpkin Fest, packing a lot of action into a short amount of time, promising more than enough things to do for the whole family.

Head to downtown Auburn from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, to take in live demonstrations of pumpkin carving with Food Network champion pumpkin carver Shannon Gerasimchik.

There will also be live music from Joe Justice in James Cultural Plaza, food trucks, dancing witches, free apple cider, pumpkin decorating, and other games for kids, as well as horse-drawn carriage rides and a night market featuring 18 local vendors, artisans, handmade items, and unique gifts.

Local downtown businesses will also have special deals all night and kids attending in their Halloween costume will get a treat from organizers Auburn Main Street.

All of this family fun is yours with no fee for admission.
