If the world of mixed martial arts is something you enjoy, then Art of Scrap has something to offer you. 

Art of Scrap is a sanctioned pro/amateur fight show created to highlight up-and-coming national talent in the MMA world. The organization will hold a night of fisticuffs at Memorial Coliseum at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15.

Eight amateur contests and eight pro fights are scheduled to take place, headlined by a bout for the middleweight title between Anthony Lapsley and Collin Huckbody. 

Some of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Destiny Rescue, a local organization fighting child trafficking, so not only will you have an action-packed night full of excitement, but you’ll be helping a good cause. 

If that’s not enough, head across the street following the event for the official after party at the Holiday Inn Express where the party continues into the wee hours of the morning.
