The 17th annual A Renaissance in Roanoke takes over downtown on Saturday, Oct. 12. 

The outdoor festival offers an invitational and juried art show and a handcrafted marketplace featuring original works of art and crafts. This is also a unique opportunity to support and to interact with the artists by purchasing directly from them. 

You can also experience plein air artists working around town during the Plein Air Paint Out competition and children’s plein air competition.

There will also be a farmers market with plenty of unique items available for purchase, live entertainment, and the city’s many charming shops, galleries, and restaurants.
