The excitement of Hollywood comes to Fort Wayne for one night only when Cinema Center hosts its Oscar Gala on Saturday, March 1.
On the night before the Academy Awards, take advantage of this opportunity to walk the red carpet, just like the biggest names in the movie industry, to celebrate this year’s Oscar-nominated films and help Cinema Center during their annual fundraiser.
“The Annual Oscar Gala fundraiser helps ensure this mission will continue in our community and gives us opportunities to expand and improve our programming,” Cinema Center board member Matthew Bochard said.
Savor an array of hors d’oeuvres from Dana’s, grab a drink or two from the cash bar, and make a few bids in the silent auction before capping the night off with a screening of Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 Oscar-nominated film Pulp Fiction, ensuring an unforgettable celebration of cinema while supporting the arts in our community.
The fun begins at 6 p.m. with tickets costing $50, although students get in for $25.
