If you’re a Harry Styles fan, you are in luck, as the former boy band member and current megastar just announced a run of dates to support his upcoming solo album Harry’s House, out May 20.
The Love On Tour includes several multinight stays with opening act Jessie Ware, including five shows at the United Center in Chicago Oct. 6, Oct. 8-9, and Oct. 13-14.
If that’s not enough, Styles is also set to star in the upcoming psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling, as well as portray the main character in the romantic drama My Policeman, both due out this year.
Incubus heading out in July
With more than 23 million albums sold, rock superstars Incubus are set to light up summer stages beginning in July with special guests Sublime With Rome and The Aquadolls.
The tour will hit most of the summer sheds, including Blossom Music Center near Cleveland on Aug. 9, Pine Knob Music Center near Detroit on Aug. 10, and Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre near Chicago on Aug. 14.
For now, the tour seems to be passing over Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville.
Meanwhile, Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd just released his second solo album, Echoes & Cocoons, which is said, by several critics, to be on par with the emotional intensity of his Incubus material.
Lady A is taking requests
Lady A have announced the cities and dates for a very unique 2022 concert tour.
The multi-award-winning trio will hit the road in August for their Request Line Tour, which will find the group playing in more intimate venues and inviting direct fan participation.
We will have a couple of chances in our region to check these megastars out as they plan to visit Chicago Theater on Oct. 27 and Old National Centre in Indianapolis on Oct. 29.
Not only do those venues allow for a more personal concert experience, but fans will also be able to call (615) 882-1975 during the tour and request add their favorite songs to the set list.
Ohio Bike Week revving up
Ohio Bike Week is fast approaching, and it features a nice selection of music to entertain those who make their way to the annual Sandusky, Ohio, festival.
On Kickoff Weekend, Mark Farner’s American Band will take the outdoor stage Friday, May 27, followed by Molly Hatchet the following night.
Downtown Block Party comes up next, featuring Jackyl on Thursday, June 2, followed by some big names of ’80s hard rock with Lita Ford performing Friday, June 3, and Slaughter and Steelheart finishing things off on Saturday, June 4.
Of course, you won’t want to miss the chance to ride with Jackyl frontman Jesse James Dupree while you are there. He will host a ride around the city June 2, prior to his show, with proceeds from the ride donated to Stein Hospice.
