There is still time for those in fourth to eighth grades to take part in Creative Arts Academy’s new Open Walls Mural Project at Purdue University Fort Wayne.

Open Walls Mural Project founder Francisco “Paco” Reyes, a 2021 Arts United Award recipient, will lead the kids through the project to transform a wall on the PFW campus.

This painting project is a way for kids to express their creativity in a collaborative environment, build self-confidence, be a part of the mural-painting trend in Fort Wayne, and leave their mark on their community.

The group will meet in the Visual Arts Building lobby on the PFW campus on Saturdays from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. throughout October.  The project is $99 for four sessions.

For information, go to pfw.edu/caa or call (260) 481-6059.
