Bert Kreischer, the “Ultimate Party Animal,” is giving us Permission To Party on his newly announced world tour.
The news comes as his new Netflix special, Lucky, hits the streaming giant.
The trek includes 37 dates with the promise of more cities to be added.
The good times are scheduled to take place at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Nov. 20, Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, on Nov. 21, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Nov. 22.
Lauper saying farewell
One last chance for the girls to have some fun comes as Cyndi Lauper is wrapping up her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour.
The singer recently announced the final leg across North America with Lauper taking her final bow with two nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Aug. 29-30. However, that final bow comes after stops at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati on July 29, Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls on July 30, Pine Knob Music Theatre in Detroit on Aug. 1, Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Chicago on Aug. 5, and Ruoff Music Center in Indianapolis on Aug. 6.
Jake Wesley Rodgers will open the shows.
Halsey has trick up sleeve
Halsey is gearing up for her 32-date For My Last Trick Tour.
The trek supports Halsey’s latest album, The Great Impersonator, released last year, and the tour will make a stop at Pine Knob Music Center near Detroit on June 11, followed by a stop at Blossom Music Center, near Cleveland, on June 13.
The upcoming shows mark Halsey’s first tour since 2022-23’s Love and Power Tour in support of her 2021 album produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power.
Chances to see Head & Heart
The Head & The Heart are gearing up to set out on tour, starting on May 31 at The Fillmore in Detroit.
The band will also make an appearance Smale Riverfront Park in Cincinnati on July 20, Kemba Live! in Columbus, Ohio, on July 23, Jacobs Pavilion in Cleveland on Aug. 5, Everwise Amphitheater in Indianapolis on Aug. 6, and The Salt Shed in Chicago on Aug. 8.
The band also revealed their new album, Aperture, is set to be released on May 9.
“I believe we’ve made a very great record together and obviously the title is an important aspect of the final product,” Matty Gervais said in a statement. “For me, Aperture represents the choice we all must make between resigning ourselves to darkness or letting the light in and recognizing our own agency to do so. It feels relevant to the times.”
Futurebirds and Anna Graves will open the Detroit show, Wild Rivers and Marfa open in Cincinnati and Columbus, and Wilderado and Katie Pruitt open the Cleveland, Indianapolis, and Chicago shows.
Counting Crows flying high
Multi-platinum rockers Counting Crows recently announced The Complete Sweets! Tour in support of the band’s upcoming album, Butter Miracle, The Complete Sweets! set for release May 9.
The band ascended quickly to rock stardom in 1993 with the breakout album August and Everything After and have sold more than 20 million records.
Nobody knows when their obsession with butter materialized, but everyone hopes it results in good material for their new album.
The tour, which features special guests The Gaslight Anthem as the opening act, stops at Fraze Pavilion in Dayton on June 11, Ravinia Park in Chicago on June 13, Everwise Amphitheater in Indianapolis on June 14, and Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre in Detroit on June 17.
