Over the last month or so, more and more local musicians are stepping out and performing. That’s great news since live music performed in front of real people has been in short supply. However, some establishments aren’t ready to take the jump. For example, Brass Rail owner Corey Rader is in no rush to open the doors since he feels it’s still too risky to be doing live music in a small indoor space. He will continue to watch data before making definite plans to reopen. But if you’re getting bored watching livestreams, a glance at Whatzup’s music calendar will give you more than 20 shows on any given weekend. So get out, be safe, and take in some live music like the good old days. Also, if your band is performing, submit your show to the Whatzup calendar online at whatzup.com/submit.
