El Camino Hot Tub has a bittersweet show coming up at O’Sullivans on Friday, July 31. As they celebrate  their two-year anniversary as a band, they will  also bid farewell to trombone player Sawyer Green who is moving to Austin, Texas.

The band released a statement on their Facebook page regarding the departure: “We know we’re going to miss him, and while the band will still continue to work hard to bring you some real bangers regardless of our lineup, we know that things won’t ever be the same without ole Sawbone laying down the trombone.”

Green has been with the band from the start performing a number of memorable shows along the way. He plans to give Austin a taste of his trombone when he gets there and already has an EDM duo in the works.

“I love the Fort Wayne music scene,” Green said. “It’s been great to meet so many awesome people and it’s such a welcoming environment.”

The show that evening will begin at 10 p.m. and will  include Nifty Skullet

Before the big shindig, ECHT will perform at 2 Toms Brewing Company’s Anniversary Luau Party on Saturday, July 25. Good luck, Sawyer!
