Piere’s Entertainment Center is opening its doors once again. The popular nightclub has been vacant since early 2019 after a couple previous failed attempts to restore it to its glory.
The new owners and management are excited to bring back Piere’s “up close and personal feel” with a renovated and safe concert venue. Piere’s is connected to the new Bobby McGee’s restaurant.
To kickoff the reopening, Piere’s first show will feature two elite acts from our local scene: The Band Brother and Whoa, Man! This show will take place 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, and won’t cost you a dime to attend. However, there is limited capacity, so you need to RSVP by signing up for their newsletter at pieresenterteinment.com.
Following that show, Piere’s will host Decade Divide at 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 19. From costume changes and hits from ’70s, ’80s, ’90, and now, Decade Divide brings the party. Stay tuned for more announcements.

A single for everyone
Calder the Band have released a new single titled “For No One.” From slide guitar to the clarinets to the hearty vocals, this new number is well worth a listen.
Mixed and mastered by bandmate Luke Matulis, the song was written with an influence of Paul Simon’s “Still Crazy After All These Years.”
When asked about the new single, bassist Lee Cliff explained, “When this song first came to us, we instantly liked it for its simplicity and nostalgia. Even if you never had a love story like the one in the song, there’s something about the nameless characters that is easy to relate to. The lack of chorus really was a decision that ended up just happening, and we couldn’t be happier with how the song turned out. We hope that anyone who listens to it feels the same.”
The song can be found on all streaming platforms.

With her stunning vocals and flashback footage of her childhood, the video will be sure to tug at your heart. Check it out for yourself on YouTube. The song can be heard on streaming platforms.
