Fresh meat
It’s been some time since we’ve heard from The Meat Flowers, but I’m happy to say the boys are back in business with a new tune and video.
Clocking in at nearly two minutes, “Slap Leather” is a catchy number that can be found on numerous streaming platforms. In addition, the tune is accompanied by an animated video with the help of Mike McPuff and can be found on YouTube.
Mic drop
Speaking of music videos, local rapper Mic Strong recently released a well-produced video on YouTube for his latest track “Offline.” The new number has Strong acknowledging positives and negatives while imploring women to be true to themselves online and off.
You can see Mic Strong live at Dreamers Hookah Lounge on Sunday, Nov. 8, from 6-9 p.m. He will perform his album Affirmation with an unplugged band. Hosting the event will be comedian AM2Funny.
