Embassy Theatre have booked themselves a good one for 2025 with the recent addition of The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight on Wednesday, March 5.
After mesmerizing audiences across Europe and the U.K., this band of 14 classical musicians is set to electrify the U.S. once again.
Prepare for a spellbinding 90-minute spectacle that infuses iconic rock and metal anthems with a hauntingly beautiful energy. They perform the music of iconic bands including Metallica, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Rage Against the Machine, My Chemical Romance, and Papa Roach. They do all of this on a stage full of flickering candles and dressed in vivid Day of the Dead-style costumes.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 23, at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com, fwembassytheatre.org, and the Embassy box office.
In addition, the Embassy announced the “Original Bad Girl of Comedy” Luenell will bring her comedy on Saturday, Sept. 28, with tickets now on sale.
Luenell has more than 30 years of experience on stage as a stand-up comedian and has appeared in feature films such as Think Like a Man, Hotel Transylvania, Taken 2, and Borat.
Wellness Barn throw block party
The Wellness Barn will host The Hartzell Block Party on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 5-9 p.m. in New Haven.
The community is welcome to come out for a car show, cornhole, food, spirits, and live music by The DeeBees.
The event will take place in the L&S Alignment parking lot and field at 220 Hartzell Road.
For those of you not aware, The Wellness Barn is a family owned health and wellness company that focuses on agriculture, fitness, and life. To find out more, head out to the event and grab a chicken or rib dinner from The Lions Club while you’re there.
Catch Hubie Ashcraft at fall market
The days are getting shorter and the nights are a little cooler, so why not celebrate the beginning of fall with a Hubie Ashcraft Band Harvest Hootenanny?
On Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 5-8 p.m. the
M3: Music Market Munchies Fall Market will take place at Schnelker Park in New Haven.
Ashcraft will headline the festivities that include a fall market and food trucks. You can even slap together a s’more by the fire pit.

Piere’s host benefit concert Sept. 15
Piere’s will host a benefit concert for Kane Kinsey on Sunday, Sept. 15, beginning at 1 p.m.
Kane is the 4-year-old Bluffton boy that recently passed away following a cancer battle.
The day will include a ton of music by the likes of Clejan the Trapviolinist, Day N Age, Long Gone, The Italics, Evolution, The Cellophane Parade, and Sarah Barton & 2nd That Band.
Admission is $20, which includes a raffle ticket for various items that will be given away.
