Internationally touring comedian, nurse, and viral video star Nurse Blake has announced a massive 100-city Shock Advised Comedy Tour that makes a stop at Embassy Theatre on Friday, Nov. 15.
Hailed as a “genuine phenomenon” by The New York Times, Blake Lynch, aka Nurse Blake, worked in trauma centers around the country before his career in comedy.
As a way to cope with stress with his nursing job, Blake started posting original comedy videos aimed at his profession. His lighthearted videos connected with nurses, nursing students, and health care workers around the world, gaining him 3.5 million followers on social media and more than 300 million views.
If you’re not a health care worker, have no fear since Nurse Blake’s comedy is for everyone. So come out and see why his live skits, videos, and interactive stories have been selling out venues around the globe.
His comedy show sounds like something different and intriguing, enough to get me out of the house.
Get tickets at ticketmaster.com, fwembassytheatre.org, and in person at the Embassy box office.

Chapman’s hosts live music at Electric Works
Not sure about you, but I’m yet to check out the new Chapman’s Brewery at Electric Works.
From what I’ve heard, there’s an impressive selection of taps, delicious looking menu, and such a welcoming atmosphere that you won’t want to leave.
Perhaps a good time to check the joint out would be Saturday, May 18, at 7 p.m. when they will host live music by Sunglasses at Night. Whether it’s Prince, Foreigner, or Dua Lipa, these cats play a great variety of party hits.
As for future music booking for Chapman’s, stay tuned to Whatzup!
