JK O’Donnell’s will hold its eighth annual Ugly Sweater Run on Thursday, Dec. 16, from 6:30-10:30 p.m.
The three-mile fun run (which is not timed and streets will not be closed) through the holiday festival lights will culminate at the pub with an ugly sweater contest with a prize awarded.
The first 350 participants redeeming an in-store coupon will receive a free commemorative pint glass.
Admission to the event is three non-perishable food items, to be donated to the Community Harvest Food Bank.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
Oak Farm Montessori School will present a one-act production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe on Thursday, Dec. 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the Community Learning Center in Kendallville.
Tickets are $2 for students and $5 for adults. Proceeds support the OFMS Drama Department and Gaslight Playhouse. All seats are general admission.
Rockstar Lounge holding Toys for Tots drive
Ardent Entertainment and Toys for Tots are hosting a toy drive at Rockstar Lounge, 1002 N. Coliseum Blvd., on Friday, Dec. 17, from 7 p.m.-1 a.m.
Live music by the band Reload will be featured and food will be available for sale. Bring a new, unwrapped toy or check donation (made out to “Toys for Tots”) at the door to enter this all-ages event.

Rub a Dub Dub Dog Grooming and Spa will host their eighth annual Biscuits with Santa event on Saturday, Dec. 18, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at their 3234 Illinois Road location.
Canine guests can take a free photo with Santa and get a free treat.
Dinner detective holiday show
The Dinner Detective Holiday Show will feature a comedy mystery with a holiday theme on Saturday, Dec. 18, from 6-9 p.m.
Tickets include a fully plated dinner, waitstaff gratuity, and an interactive mystery show.
Tickets start at $59.95 and the show takes place at the Courtyard by Marriott Fort Wayne Downtown, 1150 S. Harrison St.
Street parking is free and garage parking is $1 per hour.
Glittering Canvas to hold Dotting Social
The Glittering Canvas will host a Dotting Social on Saturday, Dec. 18, from noon-5 p.m. at the Wyndham Garden, 5750 Challenger Parkway.
Round and square drill designs will be available in hundreds of designs, with projects available in all sizes from tiny to massive.
Tables are available to work on projects and masks will be required when moving around the room. Guests are encouraged to bring their own snacks and beverages.

Holiday cookie decorating class
CoreLife Eatery and SweetArt by Melinda will hold a holiday cookie decorating class at CoreLife, 407 W. Coliseum Blvd., on Monday, Dec. 20, at 1:30 p.m. Participants of all ages will learn the steps of decorating festive cookies, with all supplies provided, and will have cookies to take home.

Sing-along bingo at Hop River Brewing
Hop River Brewing Company, 1515 N. Harrison St., brings a musical spin to the traditional game of bingo. Instead of listening for a letter/number combination, players hear clips of well-known music.
Singo is free to play every Thursday night from 7-8 p.m., and prizes are given out for each of the 3 rounds. Singing is encouraged.
