With a new singer and album on shelves and streaming platforms, Linkin Park are expanding their From Zero World Tour with 50 newly announced dates.

Response to From Zero has been mixed, with some refusing to accept new vocalist Emily Armstrong while others see it as a fresh new start.

Regardless of your view, the album is a hit, and several of the songs figure to be on the setlist when the band comes to Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on May 1 and appear at Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, on May 10.

They will make a reappearance in the region toward the end of he summer with a show at United Center in Chicago on Aug. 11 and Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Aug. 14.

“Getting back out on the road has been incredible,” vocalist Mike Shinoda said in a statement. “The fans’ support is overwhelming, and we’re ready to take this energy even further around the world.

From Zero is a new chapter for us, and we’re so excited to share it with everyone on a bigger scale.”

Grandson will open the Grand Rapids show, and PVRIS will kick things off in Chicago and Detroit.

If you understand any of what that means or, perhaps, you are just curious to find out, the Windy City is the place you will want to be this summer.

The legendary Devo will open the show.
