Country music megastar Morgan Wallen plans on hitting the road this summer on his newly announced I’m The Problem 2025 Tour.
The trek follows Wallen’s last outing, One Night at a Time, which became the highest-selling country tour in history.
He will have new music to showcase on the upcoming tour since he has his fourth studio album, you guessed it, I’m The Problem, recorded and ready for release, though no date has been set.
“We made so many lifelong memories on the One Night at a Time World Tour, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for my fans and the way they showed up each night,” Wallen said in a statement.
“As I’ve been working on new music, it has inspired me to get back on the road and share these new songs with each of you on the I’m The Problem Tour.”
Check it out if you are lucky enough to get a ticket to his only area appearances at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland with openers Ella Langley and Miranda Lambert on Aug. 15 and Langley and Thomas Rhett on Aug. 16.
Idol, Jett co-headlining
Rock legend Billy Idol is joining Joan Jett & The Blackhearts for a 30-date trek.
The It’s a Nice Day To… Tour Again tour kicks off April 30 and stops at Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Chicago on May 20, Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati on May 21, Pine Knob Music Center in Detroit on Aug. 28, and Ruoff Music Center outside Indianapolis on Aug. 30.
The iconic singer also plans to release a new album this year via Dark Horse Records. He recently released a live concert film, Billy Idol: State Line, documenting the first-ever concert at the Hoover Dam. Last year, Idol also celebrated the 40th anniversary of his album Rebel Yell and was one of the artists to induct Ozzy Osbourne into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Blondshell promotes album
Blondshell, the stage name of Sabrina Teitelbaum, is set to release her sophomore album, If You Asked for a Picture, on May 2. She will follow it up with a just-announced headlining tour of the same name.
The new album’s title borrows from a 1986 poem by American writer Mary Oliver titled “Dogfish.” In it, Oliver grapples with the idea of telling one’s own story — how much to share, how much to keep for oneself — which were all questions Teitelbaum says she asked herself while writing the LP.
If that sounds like your idea of a fun evening, catch this rising star at Metro in Chicago on June 13 or at Skully’s in Columbus, Ohio, the following night.
Meg Elser will open both shows.
NIN return to the road
Nine Inch Nails last toured in 2022. So it’s about time Trent Reznor and company made the trek across the U.S. once again.
The Peel It Back tour hits arenas this summer and fall with a planned stop at the United Center in Chicago on Aug. 19 followed by Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Aug. 22 and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland on Aug. 31.
