The country music duo Maddie & Tae announced they are hitting the road this spring for their Here’s To Friends Tour. If you’re a fan, then Friday, April 19, will be a night to add to your calendar as the multiplatinum duo will roll into town for a performance at The Clyde.

Maddie & Tae

8 p.m. Friday, April 19
The Clyde Theatre
1808 Bluffton Road, Fort Wayne
$35-$60 • (260) 747-0989

Maddie & Tae, aka Madison Font and Taylor Kerr, broke out in 2013 with their hit, “Girl in a Country Song,” which took country radio by storm, establishing them as only the third female duo in 70 years to top the Country Airplay charts.

Their current single, “Heart They Didn’t Break,” which tells the story of true friendship in times of heartbreak, is streaming. It’s a good representation of how their music continues to evolve, evoking a sound both sassy and kind, audacious and philosophical, willing and ride-or-die.

Reserved seats are on sale at clydetheatre.com, over the phone at (800) 514-3849, or in person at The Clyde box office and Sweetwater Sound.

Iron Maidens bring metal to Eagles Theatre

On Tuesday, May 7, Eagles Theatre in Wabash welcomes The Iron Maidens, the world’s only all-female Iron Maiden tribute act.

Formed in 2001, these California rockers pay homage to the mighty Maiden by delivering hits like “The Trooper,” “Hallowed Be Thy Name,” and “2 Minutes to Midnight.” Trust me, these ladies are not some sort of novelty act. They put their heart and energy into their performances. They do incredible justice to their heroes’ massive catalog while injecting their own little flare. Opening the show will be Paradise Kitty, a Guns N’ Roses tribute also made up of female rockers. Devil horns and air guitar … what else would you want on a Tuesday night?

In addition, Eagles Theatre announced Duke Tumatoe will appearon July 11 and Twitty and Lynn: A Salute to Conway and Loretta on July 18.

Tickets can be purchased at honeywellarts.org.
