As you have probably heard, leadership at Middle Waves Music Festival is changing hands to Embassy Theatre. In a press release, the Embassy disclosed that they will take over leadership of the programming, planning, and execution of the festival. With their resources, they plan to continue the success of the festival and broaden to more people in the community.
Without wasting any time, the Embassy announced they will host Ripple: A Middle Waves Hype Event at Parkview Field on Saturday, June 24.
The event will be headlined by indie rocker Soccer Mommy and include performances by the Boston rock trio Vundabar, the soulful brass ensemble DuPont Brass, and local performers The Namby Pamby and Mic Strong.
There will be two stages in the amphitheater/north gate section of Parkview Field to catch all the action.
Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. with music starting at 5 p.m.
Those looking for a little extra can take advantage of the VIP tickets that will gain you access to the 400 Club and VVIP tickets that will grant access to the 400 Club and The Summit. The youngsters will have fun as well with a special kids zone. More details about the event will be announced this month.
Tickets for Ripple are reasonable at $35 general admission, $25 for kids 12 and under, $60 for VIP, and $75 for VVIP. They can be purchased at fwembassytheatre.org and ticketmaster.com and at the STAR Bank box office at the Embassy.
