On Sunday, May 18, things will be getting funky at The Clyde Theatre as the folks at the Bluffton Road music venue have announced they will bring Lettuce to town during their Sauté Tour.
Formed in 1992, the Grammy-nominated six-piece band from Boston have earned a reputation as one of the greatest funk bands of modern times.
They’ve put out a total of nine albums to date, most recently 2023’s VIBE, which is a single, 48-minute continuous session song.
What’s more, the band’s members have forged successful careers with a combined portfolio of touring and session musicians for the likes of Britney Spears, The Game, Wyclef Jean, and Lady Gaga.
In any event, this is a huge grab for the venue, and I will see you there!
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, by going to clydetheatre.com or visiting The Clyde’s box office.

Acclaimed DJ Steve Aoki booked at Piere’s
I have to admit, I was not all familiar with Steve Aoki until Piere’s announced he would be coming to town Thursday, Feb.27.
Soon after the news hit social media, I began getting texts from friends and colleagues on how big of a deal this booking was. When you take a look at Aoki’s creds, you can certainly see the reasoning behind the excitement.
The DJ, artist, fashion designer, entrepreneur, futurist, and Dim Mak Records founder is an iconic figure in electronic dance music, boasting a career marked by Grammy nominations and a consistent presence in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list. He’s toured worldwide and collaborated with Linkin Park, will.i.am, Lil Jon, Kid Cudi, and Rise Against.
Aoki has performed at nearly every top festival around the world so it’s a pretty big deal to have him at Piere’s.
Tickets, which aren’t expected to last long can be purchased at etix.com and Wooden Nickel locations.
