Keith Urban will return to the road for the first time in three years when he sets off on the 2025 High and Alive World Tour.

The tour comes in support of his recently released  11th studio album, High, his first album in four years.

In a press release accompanying the announcement, Urban revealed the album started out as a completely different project, titled 615. However, when things didn’t come together as planned, he chose to abandon it and begin again from the ground up.

“In all the albums I’ve ever made, I’ve never scrapped an entire album and started again,” he said in the release. “So, it felt like a gut punch of my own making. It would have been easier to just be like, ‘This album’s fine. There are some great songs on it. Let’s go, let’s tour, let’s keep the thing going.’ But every part of me just felt like there’s a better record in me.”

He will show off the finished product when he visits Pine Knob Music Theatre in Detroit on June 22, Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati on June 26, Blossom Music Center outside Cleveland on June 27, Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville on June 28, and United Center in Chicago on Sept. 25.

Post Malone enlists Jelly Roll

Post Malone will team up with Jelly Roll for the The Big Ass Stadium Tour this summer, spotlighting Malone’s country album F-1 Trillion.

The first batch of country songs from the singer/rapper, Malone leaned heavily on duets for material, enlisting the likes of Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Dolly Parton, and, of course, Mr. Roll, who appears on two tracks.

The tour will stop at Detroit’s Ford Field on May 18 and Chicago’s Wrigley Field on May 22.

Sierra Ferrell will open the shows.

Night Ranger in Gas City

The recently opened Gas City Performing Arts Center has booked Night Ranger for April 26.

A frequent visitor to our area, Night Ranger never disappoint as they belt out hits “(You Can Still) Rock in America,” “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me,” and “Sister Christian” with high energy and enthusiasm at every show.

Other artists visiting this venue conveniently located just off Interstate 69 between Indianapolis and Fort Wayne include BlackHawk on Feb. 21 and Amy Grant on April 12.

Brett Young visits Blue Gate

Diamond-selling recording artist Brett Young has announced his Back to Basics World Tour 2025.

Kicking off in February, Young will a stop at the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center in Shipshewana on Feb. 15.

Young is switching it up on this trek, bringing fans a different kind of live show than they’ve seen in recent years. The tour will find him doing what he does best with a stripped back, more personal concert experience.

“Next year is going to be a lot of fun,” he said in the announcement. “I can’t tell you how long I’ve wanted to do a tour like this where there aren’t any bells and whistles and the focus is completely on the music.

“This tour is solely about the songs and the stories behind them being played by the best musicians around. I’ve always been a song person, and I’m so excited to finally share the music in its purest form.”

Young is one of only four modern country artists to have their first seven singles go No. 1.
