Platinum singer-songwriter Jesse McCartney is gearing up for his All’s Well Tour: Part 2 that includes a stop at The Clyde Theatre on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

You may know McCartney from his runner-up performance as “The Turtle” in Season 3 of Fox’s The Masked Singer in 2020 and from his humorous TikTok videos with his wife, Katie Peterson,  during the pandemic, The Quarantine Couple.

In April, the pop singer released his All’s Well EP blending elements of R&B, soul, and pop with enticing charisma and contemporary lyricism. It even features collaboration with rap sensation Yung Gravy on the track “Make a Baby.”

Tickets for McCartney go on sale Friday, June 19, at 10 a.m. at clydetheatre.com, over the phone at (800) 514-3849, or in person at The Clyde box office and Sweetwater Sound.

Chance Bar throwing block party

On Sunday, July 28, from 3-8:30 p.m., Chance Bar, 4301 Fairfield Ave., will be throwing a block party with an array of activities.

Among the fun will be face-painting, sidewalk chalk, cornhole, an air guitar contest, glass-blowing demonstrations, a pie-eating contest (first come, first served), adult beverages, and live music by Tim Becker, Chris Hambrick & Friends, and Los Electro. Heck, there will even be free hot dogs for the kiddos. Not sure what the age cutoff is, but I’m always down for a good dog.

All this mayhem for only a $5 entry fee.

See you there!
