Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening has announced a 12-city North American tour for this spring which includes a stop at Honeywell Center in Wabash on Sunday, April 21.
Bonham formed the Led Zeppelin Experience in 2009 to pay tribute to his father, legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, who died in 1980 at the age of 32.
Jason Bonham toured nearly a decade under “The Experience” moniker before changing the band’s name to Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening, a request by the original band who had thoughts of using the Led Zeppelin Experience in a campaign marking their 50th anniversary.
Alongside a group of fellow journeyman musicians, Bonham will perform some of Led Zeppelin’s most iconic songs at the Honeywell in addition to a few deep cuts. As an added bonus, Bonham’s son Jager Henry will open the show. Unlike his father and grandfather, Henry’s music finds him behind the mic rather than behind the drum kit.
Tickets are on sale at honeywellcenter.org.
This will be a great opportunity to take in a night of nothing but Zeppelin and to see Bonham before he hits the road this summer drumming for Sammy Hagar’s Best of Both Worlds tour.
