Cibo Ristorante has opened in downtown Columbia City at 223 W. Van Buren St. “Cibo,” which means “food” in Italian, is the inspiration of owner Wes Davison, who brings more than three decades of experience to the effort.
Cibo Ristorante’s menu showcases authentic dishes from different regions of Italy, offering appetizers, salads, soups, sandwiches, pasta, entrées, and desserts.
Appetizers include artichokes, onions, tomatoes, and olives.
The pasta selection features penne and butter, penne Alfredo, penne marinara, classic spaghetti and meatball, and sausage marinara.
Entrées include shrimp, chicken, salmon, and prosciutto. For dessert, there’s tiramisu or limoncello cake.
For decades, The Nook occupied this location, serving Coney dogs and comfort food since 1974. The Nook closed its doors in July.
Cibo Ristorante is open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
