The anticipation for Middle Waves Music Festival has reached a crescendo as the lineup has been unveiled.
Embassy Theatre recently took to social media with all the details for the upcoming festival scheduled for Saturday, June 15, at Parkview Field.
This year’s festival will be headlined by the indie rock band Alvvays. The Toronto-based quintet are out in support of their latest album, Blue Rev, which features the hit single “Belinda Says.” That song earned them a 2024 Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Performance.
The lineup also features three regional acts: alternative blues band Houndmouth, indie rock/grunge band Pom Pom Squad, and indie-American band Murder by Death. Former Fort Wayne rockers Overlook, now based in Nashville, Tennessee, will kick off the festival.
In addition to the music, there will be four zones to engage patrons and amp up the festival experience: The Art Zone will include local artists; The Creativity Zone will allow participants to experiment with a variety of musical instruments; The Game Zone will feature classic yard games; and The Vendor Zone will feature a variety of creative local vendors.
General admission, VIP, and VVIP tickets can be purchased at fwembassytheatre.org, ticketmaster.com, and at the Embassy box office.
