Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson have not been on the best of terms in recent years, but Heart announced they will be hitting many stages this summer.
The Hall of Fame act will be together for the first time since 2019 with the Royal Flush Tour stopping by Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on May 7.
Heart broke onto the music scene with their 1975 debut album Dreamboat Annie, which included the hit singles “Magic Man” and “Crazy on You.”
They went on to sell more than 35 million albums worldwide and to produce classic hits such as “Barracuda,” “Alone,” and “These Dreams.”
Other area dates they will hit on the tour are Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, on May 15, Allstate Arena in Chicago on May 17, Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on May 21, and Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati on Aug. 13.
All those shows will see Cheap Trick as the opening act.
Heart will also appear in Cleveland on July 30 as part of a package tour that includes Def Leppard and Journey.
UK rockers coming to Ohio
KK’s Priest, the band fronted by former Judas Priest guitarist KK Downing, will tour for the first time in the U.S. in support of their sophomore album, Sinner Rides Again.
With openers LA Guns and Burning Witches in tow, Downing and company will visit The King of Clubs in Columbus, Ohio, on April 16 and Agora Theatre in Cleveland on April 20.
“We will be very proud to bring you the finest British steel from England — where the embryo of this beloved music was conceived so many years ago,” Downing said in a press release.
Uli Jon Roth visits The States
Legendary guitarist Uli Jon Roth is returning to North America following a five-year hiatus, hitting 30 cities in April and May.
Take advantage of a rare opportunity to see this guitar hero as he presents the Interstellar Sky Guitar Tour, a three-hour extravaganza that features Roth playing a selection of new and old pieces and introducing his new book.
Check out the show at Arts Center in Hobart on April 18, Chicago’s Arcada Theatre on April 19 and Reggies on April 20, and Token Lounge in Detroit on April 21.
Chaos & Carnage returns
The fifth Chaos & Carnage Tour will be co-headlined by Cattle Decapitation and Carnifex.
The soothing sounds of both bands will undoubtedly bring a peaceful, calming feeling as the extreme bands join in what is sure to be one of the heaviest shows of the summer.
If this is your scene, you will have to travel to The King of Clubs in Columbus, Ohio, May 16, The Crofoot Ballroom outside Detroit on May 17, or The WC Social Club in Chicago on May 18.
Rivers of Nihil, Humanity’s Last Breath, The Zenith Passage, Vitriol, and Face Yourself are set to open.
