City alternative rockers Namen Namen have quite the end-of-summer road trip in store.

After teasing about the release of some big news all week, the band of Dylan Record on vocals, guitarist Kellen Baker, bassist Zara McCord, and drummer Ron Record announced a 15-show tour on Friday afternoon: all taking place within 17 days and going as far south as Atlanta.

Beginning Friday, July 29, the band will play at DAAC in Grand Rapids, then hit Indianapolis the following day before returning home for a Sunday night show at The Brass Rail on July 31.

After that, they take a deep breath and plunge in, tackling 12 shows in 13 days, and they’re even leaving the door open for a performance on that off day.

The juggernaut begins Tuesday, Aug. 2, in Columbus, Ohio, followed by consecutive shows in Washington, D.C.; Wilmington, Delaware; Philadelphia; and New York City.

The “off day” comes on Aug. 7, which they will likely use to travel the 877 miles from NYC to Atlanta. Once they do play at 529 Atlanta, they begin their journey north, starting in Chattanooga, Tennessee, followed with consecutive shows in Memphis, Tennessee; St. Louis; Brewyn, Illinois (a Chicago suburb); Milwaukee; then back to Indiana with a final stop at the Litter Box in Muncie on Aug. 14.

When it’s all said and done, the foursome will have put about 3,653 miles on their van packed with gear, granted they don’t make any detours.

Best of luck while they spread their infectious sound around the nation.
